Overview
You can edit a user’s details at any time from the When I Work Staff Scheduling app.
You can also edit a users from your computer or Android device.
Considerations
- You must have supervisor, manager, or admin level access to edit a user’s information.
- A registered user’s email address cannot be changed by an admin, manager, or supervisor if the user has already registered. The user can edit their email by logging in from a computer, the Android app or the iOS app.
Edit a user’s information
- From the When I Work Staff Scheduling app, tap the More icon More tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap Employees from the Toolbox list.
- Tap the user that you want to edit.
- Tap Edit.
- Edit the user’s details:
- Profile picture
- First name
- Last name
- Phone number
- Employee ID
- Role
- Max Hours/ Week
- Timezone
- Notes
- Edit the user’s assignments:
- Tap next to Add Schedule to add the schedules they are qualified to work.
- Tap to the right of the Schedules users are unqualified to work to remove a user from a schedule.
- Tap next to Add Position to add the position(s) they are qualified to work.
- Tap next to the positions they are no longer qualified to work to remove a position from the user’s profile.
- Tap next to Add Tag to add the tags they are qualified to work.
- Tap next to the tags they are no longer qualified to work to remove a position from the user’s profile.
- Tap Save on the top right of the screen.
