Overview

Two-step verification adds a second layer of security to your account by requiring another method of verification beyond your initial password. This article covers configuring two-step verification on your Android device.

You can also configure two-step verification on your computer or iOS device.

Considerations

Change verification method

  1. Tap More More in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
  2. Tap Profile Settings.Profile settings
  3. Tap Enabled in the Two-Step Verification field.Configure two step
  4. Tap Change Verification Method, then tap Continue.Change verification methodChange method confirm
  5. Follow instructions to enable two-step verification in your chosen method.

Regenerate recovery codes

  1. Tap More More in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
  2. Tap Profile Settings.Profile settings
  3. Tap Enabled in the Two-Step Verification field.Configure two step
  4. Tap Regenerate Codes, then tap Continue.Regenerate codesConfirm code regen
  5. Tap Copy Codes and paste them into an email to send to yourself for backup purposes.Copy Codes
  6. Tap Done.

Disable two-step verification

  1. Tap More More in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
  2. Tap Profile Settings.Profile settings

  4. Tap Disable Two-step Verification.Disable two step
