Enhancements to Exports Release Notes

What’s New?

Exports have been enhanced in a number of ways to make them more friendly to consume. An export for Shift Templates was also added.

Enhancements

All exports
File Name Updates:

  • Export as of run date:  [export name] as of month abbreviation, day, four digit year. For example: Job Sites as of Apr 1, 2023.xlsx
  • Exports with a timeframe, e.g. Schedule export, Shift Request, includes start and end date. For example: Schedule for Jan 5, 2023 – Jan 20, 2023.xlsx

Columns reordered.

Job Sites
Export is sorted by job site name.
Schedule
Hourly tab:

  • Name removed, First Name, Last Name and Email added
  • Names sorted by shift order

Schedule tab:

  • Name removed – First Name, Last Name and Email added
  • Job Site added, which separates shifts into different rows based on the user’s job site.
  • Date field moved to appear next to the shift start and shift end fields.
  • OpenShifts included with the following:
    • OpenShift Count: New column populated with the # of OpenShift instances. This field is blank for assigned shifts.
    • First Name: Populated with ‘OpenShift’
    • Last Name: Blank
  • Tags re-labeled as ‘Shift Tags’, ‘Start’ as ‘Shift Start Time’ and ‘End’ as ‘Shift End Time’.
  • Shifts sorted by shift date and shift start time.
Shift Requests
Remove Time column removed and ‘Shift Start Time’, Shift End Time’, Accepted At added.

  • ‘Accepted At’ shows date and time the shift was accepted

‘Created’ as ‘Created At’, ‘Date’ as ‘Shift Date’, Time relabeled as ‘Shift Time’ and ‘Approved/Denied On’ as ‘Approved/Denied At’

New export available on the Shifts Template page
Time Off Requests

‘Approved/Denied On’ relabeled as ‘Approved/Denied At’.

E-mail and Unpaid Hours added
