Overview
Two-step verification adds a second layer of security to your account by requiring another method of verification beyond your initial password. This article covers configuring two-step verification on your iOS device.
You can also configure two-step verification on your computer or Android device.
Considerations
- If you choose to use an authenticator app, When I Work recommends Authy, LastPass, or Google Authenticator.
- Two-step verification is an opt-in feature.
Change verification method
- Tap More in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
- Tap Profile Settings.
- Tap Edit in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Tap Configure in the Two-Step Verification field.
- Tap Change Verification Method, then tap Continue.
- Follow instructions to enable two-step verification in your chosen method.
Regenerate recovery codes
- Tap More in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
- Tap Profile Settings.
- Tap Edit in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Tap Configure in the Two-Step Verification field.
- Tap Regenerate Recovery Codes, then tap Continue.
- Tap Copy Codes and paste them into an email to send to yourself for backup purposes.
- Tap Done.
Disable two-step verification
- Tap More in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
- Tap Profile Settings.
- Tap Edit in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Tap Configure in the Two-Step Verification field.
- Tap Disable Two-step Verification.
- Tap Disable.
