Overview

Assign tags to users, shifts, and shift templates in any combination to ensure that shifts are matched to the correct users.

If you have not created any tags and want to learn more about tags, check out Creating and Managing Tags.

You can also assign tags from your iOS device and Android device.

Considerations

  • You must have supervisor, manager or admin level access to assign a tag.
  • Tags are not visible to employees.
  • When a shift has tags assigned, an employee must be assigned all tags present in the shift to be eligible to take it.

Assign a tag to a user

  1. Hover over , then select Users.

  2. Click that corresponds with the user you want to add tags to.
  3. Click Assignments.
  4. Click the Tags drop down and add the relevant tags to the user.
  5. Click Save User to finish.

Assign a tag to a shift

You can assign tags to existing shifts, or when creating a new custom shift.

  1. Click Scheduler.

  2. Click  to add a shift.
  3. Click Create Custom Shift.
  4. Click the Tags drop down and add the relevant tags to the shift.
  5. Click Save to finish.

Assign a tag to a shift template

You can assign tags to existing shift templates, or when creating a new shift template.

  1. Hover over , then select  Shift Templates.

  2. Click next to the shift template you want to add tags to.
  3. Click the Tags drop down and add the relevant tags to the shift template.
  4. Click Save to finish.
