Exporting Time Sheets

Overview

Exporting time sheets allows you to download a spreadsheet containing time sheet information. You can export time sheets for a pay period, or for a custom date range outside of your pay periods. Time sheet exports contain raw time entries and totals.

Things to know before you begin

  • You must have supervisor, manager, or account holder access privileges to export employees’ time sheets.
  • Employees can only export their own time sheets for individual pay periods.

Within a pay period

Time sheets can be exported from a pay period for all employees or for individual employees.

For all employees

  1. In the top-left corner of the Attendance screen under Pay Periods, click  Down arrow button  to select the pay period from which you’d like to export time sheets.Select pay period
  2. On the left side of the screen next to Timesheets, click the arrow icon.Export time sheets button
  3. Select Export All Timesheets.

For an individual employee

  1. In the top-left corner of the Attendance screen under Pay Periods, click  Down arrow button  to select the pay period from which you’d like to export time sheets.Select pay period
  2. On the left side of the screen under Timesheets, select the employee whose time sheets you’d like to export.
  3. In the top-right corner of the screen, click Export.Export button A download of the time sheets appears in your browser.

Within a custom date range

Custom time sheet exports allow you to configure your export for specific date ranges and narrow it down based on locations, job sites, positions, and employees.

  1. On the left side of the Attendance screen under Timesheets, click the arrow icon.Export time sheets button
  2. Select Custom Export.

    1. Click  Calendar  to select the Start Date and End Date for the export.
    2. (Optional) Select other options for the export as needed:
      • Click each menu under LocationsJob SitesPositions, or Employees to select items to narrow down your export.
      • By default, a time sheet export splits time entires up by location. If you prefer the export not to be split up by locations, uncheck the box next to Split into separate locations.
  4. When you’re finished customizing the export, click Export.
    A download of the time sheets appears in your browser.
