Overview

Enable Tips Tracking if you want your employees to report the tips they earned for each shift. Users are asked how much they earned in tips upon clocking out.

You can report tips using a computer, iOS device, or Android device.

This data can be used when running Payroll and also sent over to an integration.

Tax Purpose

Reported tips are tips that have already been paid out and are used for tax purposes. These are not tips owed to the user in a paycheck.

Enable tips tracking

  1. Hover over , then select  Attendance Settings.

  2. Navigate to Tips Tracking and click the toggle to on.

  3. Click Change to add positions you want to track tips for.
  4. Click the check box next to the positions you want to earn tips.
  5. Click Save to finish.save positions for tips
