Overview

If you need to publish an existing shift on the go, the When I Work Scheduling app for Android has you covered. Publishing shifts allows users to see their shifts when they log in and sends them notifications based on their alert preferences.

The When I Work Scheduling app for Android includes basic publishing options. If you need to publish the entire schedule, we suggest using your computer or iPhone/iPad to speed up the process.

Shift Notifications

To make sure your employees are aware of their shifts, When I Work notifies your employees when:

  • You publish shifts that are assigned to them using the Publish & Notify button or by publishing the shift individually.
  • You save changes to a shift that is already published.
  • You publish OpenShifts that they’re eligible to take.
