Overview
When I Work integrates with Next Workers’ Compensation to help you find coverage for workers’ compensation insurance. The integration enables you to offer workers’ compensation insurance directly within When I Work.
The integration allows When I Work to share your payroll data in real-time and establish a pay-as-you-go policy for Workers’ Comp with NEXT.
Considerations
- Your workplace must use Time & Attendance and Payroll.
- The Payroll Terms of Service – Workplaces and the Workers’ Comp Insurance Schedule (Schedules A and A-1 of our Terms of Service found at https://wheniwork.com/terms) set forth the terms and conditions under which Customers have the opportunity to seek and, if eligible, purchase a plan of Workers’ Comp insurance from Next.
Enroll in the integration
Hover over , then select Integrations.
- Click See All Integrations, then click Learn More in the Next tile.
- Click Enroll. A new modal opens where you can choose to find a new plan or connect coverage.

Manage the integration
Hover over , then select Integrations.
- Click Managed By Provider.
- Click Visit Website to take further management action.
