Overview
Giving a manager access to manage payroll allows them to close out, edit, and finalize pay periods. They can also configure payroll settings in App Settings.
Things to know before you begin
- You must have account holder access privileges to give a manager access to manage payroll.
- Supervisors cannot be given access to manage payroll.
- Only the account holder can un-finalize a finalized pay period.
What can managers do with access to manage payroll?
Managers with access to manage payroll can:
Give access to manage payroll
- In the top-right corner of the page, click Gear menu, then select Employees.
- Click the name of the manager you’d like to give the access to.
- Click the Advanced Details tab.
- Check the box next to Can Manage Payroll.
- Click Save Employee.
